Ruszyły zapisy na VIII Triathlon MOSiR Łomża! Registration for the 8th MOSiR Lomza Triathlon is open

Zawody rozpoczną się w niedzielę 6 sierpnia na terenie kąpieliska miejskiego przy Moście Hubala w Łomży, skąd zawodnicy wyruszą w kierunku nadnarwiańskich bulwarów przy Łomżyńskim Porcie. Pierwszym etapem będzie pływanie stylem dowolnym 1,2km. Kolejny etap to rower. Całkowity dystans jaki należy pokonać w rejonie przystani u zbiegu bulwarów i wjazdu do Hospicjum to 15 km, które rozbite będzie na 3 okrążenia. Ostatnim etapem jest 3 km bieg, którego start zostanie ulokowany bezpośrednio na bulwarach, skąd zawodnicy kierować się będą przez ul. Rybaki do ul. Żydowskiej. Meta również znajdować się będzie na terenie bulwarów.

Udział w zawodach jest bezpłatny. Zawodnicy w dniu zawodów otrzymują pakiety startowe. Zwycięzcy w klasyfikacji generalnej mężczyzn i kobiet, którzy zajmą miejsca I-III, Najstarszy i Najmłodszy Zawodnik oraz Najlepszy Łomżyniak i Najlepsza Łomżynianka otrzymają nagrody i puchary, natomiast każdy z uczestników, który ukończy wyścig otrzyma pamiątkowy medal.

W zawodach na dystansie super sprinterskim mogą wziąć udział osoby, które ukończyły 16 lat oraz podpiszą oświadczenie o braku przeciwwskazań medycznych do udziału w imprezie. W przypadku zawodniczek i zawodników niepełnoletnich wymagana będzie pisemna zgoda na udział w zawodach opiekuna prawnego.

Registration for the 8th MOSiR Lomza Triathlon is open!

The City of Lomza together with the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre (MOSiR) in Lomza invite you to the eighth edition of the MOSiR Lomza Triathlon. The competition will be held on August 6 as part of the project "Lomza - The city where I live and work" financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 - Local Development Program. The event is organised by the Fundacja Wsparcia Rozwoju Sportu Turystyki i Rekreacji (Foundation for Supporting the Development of Sport, Tourism and Recreation).

The competition will begin on Sunday 6th August at the bathing site near Hubal's Bridge in Lomza, from where the competitors will set off towards the Narew River boulevards by the Lomza Harbour. The first stage will be a 1.2 km freestyle swim. The next stage will be a bicycle race. The total distance to be covered in the area of the marina at the junction of the boulevards and the entrance to the Hospice is 15 km, which will be divided into 3 laps. The last stage is the 3-kilometre run with the starting point located directly on the boulevards, from where the competitors will go through Rybaki Street to Żydowska Street. The finish line will also be located on the boulevards.

Participation in the competition is free of charge. On the day of the competition, the participants will receive their starting packages. General classification winners among men and women, taking places I-III, the Oldest and the Youngest Participant and the Best Lomza Male / Female Residents will be awarded prizes and trophies, while each participant who finishes the race shall receive a commemorative medal.

Persons who are at least 16 years old and sign a declaration that no medical contraindications exist in order to participate in the event can take part in the super sprint distance competition. In case of underage participants, a written consent of their legal guardian will be required.
