Wizyta studyjna w Nordland - Study visit to Nordland

Wizyta była jednym z elementów współpracy w wymiarze środowiskowym projektu. Delegacja Łomży miała okazję poznać przede wszystkim sprawdzone i stosowane przez Norwegów rozwiązania w projektach infrastrukturalnych, dotyczących zwłaszcza Miasta położonego nad rzeką, zieleni miejskiej, czy obiektów drogowych. Kluczowe było uwzględnienie aspektów środowiskowych, rozwiązań proekologicznych oraz adaptujących miasto do zmian klimatu. Partner Norweski zaprezentował szereg wyzwań infrastrukturalnych i klimatycznych z jakimi mierzy się przy realizacji i utrzymaniu inwestycji.

W trakcie wizyty delegacja z Łomży miała okazję nie tylko zapoznać się z wiedzą teoretyczną Partnera, ale także odwiedzić zrealizowane inwestycje okręgu Nordland, zwłaszcza te będące odpowiednikami planowanych działań środowiskowych w ramach projektu „Łomża – Miasto, w którym żyję i pracuję”. Dzięki temu możliwe było poznanie zastosowanych rozwiązań infrastrukturalnych w praktyce.

Wizyta pozwoliła na wymianę wiedzy i doświadczeń nie tylko w wymiarze środowiskowym projektu, ale także w wymiarze instytucjonalnym, związanym z funkcjonowaniem jednostki samorządu terytorialnego, kwestii proceduralnych przy przygotowaniu procesu budowlanego, oraz relacji miasta z mieszkańcami.

Study visit to Nordland
On October 3-7, the first study visit of the representatives of Łomża City to the Nordland district, which is the Norwegian Partner of the project, took place. The delegation from Łomża visited the city of Bodø, which is the capital of the Nordland district, and the city of Mosjøen.

The visit was one of the elements of cooperation in the environmental dimension of the project. The delegation of Łomża had the opportunity to get to know proven and applied solutions in infrastructure projects, especially concerning the city situated by the river, urban greenery or road facilities. It was crucial to take into account environmental aspects, pro-ecological solutions and solutions adapting the city to climate change. The Norwegian Partner presented a number of infrastructural and climate challenges that are faced in the implementation and maintenance of the investment.

During the visit, the delegation from Łomża had the opportunity not only to familiarize themselves with the theoretical knowledge of the Partner, but also to visit the completed investments of the Nordland district, especially those which are equivalent to the planned environmental activities under the project "Łomża - the city where I live and work". Thanks to this, it was possible to get to know the infrastructure solutions used in practice.

The visit allowed for the exchange of knowledge and experience not only in the environmental dimension of the project, but also in the institutional dimension, related to the functioning of a local government unit, procedural issues in the preparation of the construction process, and the city's relationship with its inhabitants.
