Wszystkie będą nawiązywały do czasów historycznych.
The "Taste in Łomza" fair as a time machine to travel back to the Middle Ages
The Mayor of Lomza, Mariusz Chrzanowski, would like to invite you to a medieval fair "Taste Lomza", which will take place on Friday 17th June 2022, between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., in the John Paul II - the Pilgrim Pope Park. Everyone who attends the event will have a unique opportunity to travel back in time and feel the spirit of that bygone era. It will be held as part of this year's Lomza Days.
Stalls representing ancient crafts await all visitors: there will be metalworking, weaving, pottery and woodworking. Great entertainment will be provided for children, who will be able to experience a journey back in time. A scriptorium, i.e. ancient writing and reading desk, an archaeological sandpit, or an educational tent are only some of the attractions awaiting the youngest residents of Lomza. All of them will refer to historical times. You can also expect a medieval kitchen food stand, where everyone will be able to taste dishes from the past.
The event is organised together with the Municipality of Piątnica as part of the project entitled "Lomza - the city where I live and work", financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.
